Aircraft Passenger Boarding Stairs

Aircraft Passenger Boarding Stairs provide a way for passengers and crew to safely and efficiently board and disembark aircraft. They are used at hardstands (remote parking positions) and in the absence of jet bridges (aka passenger boarding bridge) at the airport terminal gate.

Passenger boarding stairs are designed with mobility in mind, they can be conveniently towed, pushed or driven into position next to an aircraft. They can be raised or lowered to match the height of the airplane.
